"I first hired Kimberly as my executive coach during a rough spot in my career. She was wonderful in helping me see the bigger picture, boosting my confidence and dealing with my "gremlins." My performance and satification in my career greatly improved during and after our initial 6 month coaching period.
"I engaged her again in August 2010, to overcome some of the challenges of returning to work after having my second child, growing my practice into a new area and effectively communicating with those who work differently than me. The results have been amazing. She has help me to see past my barriers, to reach my goals and I am confident that we will continue to have a wonderful relationship with great results.
"Thanks Kimberly!"Jennifer Cavender, Manager
Kimberly asks probing questions, listens well, respects confidentially and is a great sounding board. Always positive and upbeat, she helps me capitalize on my strengths. She challenges me to think differently about a problem and makes herself available to brainstorm ideas and action plans. I consider her a friend as well as a mentor and coach and recommend her without reservation.

People are often surprised when I tell them I have a career coach. They say, "Paul you are an intelligent and motivated individual. Why do you need a career coach?" I answer by telling them, that one is not an island and that it is important to surround oneself with equally, if not more so, intelligent people from varying fields to create balance. Kimberly Roush is MY career coach. She has not only helped me gain focus in my career but achieve results sooner than ever expected! Her unique combination of creativity smarts and passion separates her from the pack and helps one get out of their own way and find the answers to their own questions! Rock on Kimberly! You are my All-Star!

“My first several months of transition were quite painful,” Randy admits.
But instead of being defeated by a difficult employment climate, Randy reached out for help.
“My experience turned around when I hired a coach — Kimberly Roush at All-Star Executive Coaching.”
Of the coaching, Randy says: “The value I received in terms of understanding and communicating my “brand,” prepping for and nailing interviews, staying focused and accountable, networking at a different level, going beyond my comfort zone, maintaining a positive attitude, feeling supported, knowing I was focusing on the right things, rebounding quickly after disappointments — all of this was priceless. For me, it was a long-term investment because I see how what I learned about myself and the knowledge and skills I picked up will help me for the rest of my career... Once you’ve met with [Kimberly], you realize her immense exposure to senior executives throughout her career. Her insights and ability to articulate at the C-level is top notch. My only regret was that I did not engage her sooner!”
Randy Miller, CIO
Why I chose the path of using a career coach?
After spending 15 years in corporate America, I was confronted with the reality of “is this really it?” Well, I was really asking myself this question for probably 10 of those 15 years, to be completely honest. It was time for me to really do some soul searching and to understand what it was I really wanted to accomplish with my life (in terms of my career fulfillment). It was during a networking event that I was lucky enough to get a referral to talk with a “Career Coach.” The concept sounded intriguing, so I decided to pursue this option. I really had no idea what I was in for, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life.
After my one hour consult with Kimberly, I knew that I needed to make this investment in myself. After making important decisions for other people, I needed to make one for myself.
Working with Kimberly helped me in many ways. Most importantly, I was able to understand myself. Instead of being on “auto-pilot” in my career, as I was for years, I was able to get clarity of what made me tick and what my true self wanted to do.
I developed clarity in many areas of my life in the months working with Kimberly as follows:
Direction – what it was I truly wanted to pursue
Passion – what is was that made me tick inside
Success – what it means to me and not what others perceive it to be
Confidence – learning to lean on myself versus other people
Momentum – taking small steps each day to get to where I needed to go
Purpose – Understanding my own purpose and working each day to nurture it
Why did I sign up for career coaching? I can tell you that I had one reason…to help me figure out what I wanted to do when I grow up.. but I got much more than I had anticipated.

I met Kimberly while I was in transition as part of an Executive Bootcamp. During those short weeks I was amazed at how much she was able to relate to me that has changed my approach to my career and personal life. Nothing in large amounts but those "critical nuggets" of information and insight personalized for me and explained in a way that I can keep with me and use throughout my career. She is a must-have resource.
- Thomas Ashbrook, CIO
